Where does your business want to be tomorrow?
No business wants to be stuck in a rut, but sometimes things get in the way. Whether it’s not knowing where to start or not having enough time, when immediate needs regularly delay or distract from the bigger picture, it’s easy for businesses to stagnate. When creativity becomes tepid, good ideas collect dust and disjointed objectives proliferate – average becomes acceptable. But average accomplishes nothing.
We’re problem seekers and solvers. Strategists specialising in unsticking business, who have been there and done that. Whether a business is on autopilot or ready for a new chapter, we create the momentum needed to unlock the potential every business has to accomplish exceptional things.
Some of our work
“Melissa quickly understood our business and surfaced challenges we hadn’t been able to articulate. Her strategic guidance has shaped our next chapter.”
— Former Client, family-owned business
Our approach
-
Good strategy is simple, grounded in insight and has razor sharp focus. Our strategies define the challenge (or opportunity) and builds cohesion - coordinating actions, policies and resources to accomplish desirable outcomes.
-
We base ourselves wherever you are. Working side-by-side not only makes us accessible, but removes the opaqueness many experience working with traditional consultants
-
We create and execute our strategies, working collaboratively with your business to ensure their success. We don’t do behemoth presentations and then set you on your way. Where others build reliance, we build capability.
-
We don't shy away from the hard stuff. A good strategy does more than build forward momentum, it honestly acknowledges the challenges being faced and provides an approach to overcoming them.
-
Our approach is not about breaking things fast, quick wins or whatever phrase is circulating these days. We work with intention, creating the near-term results needed to unlock desireable outcomes over time.
Our process
-
Where you are today. We get under the skin of your business to understand how its performing, diving into its strategy, offer, financials, clients and culture
Interrogate and define opportunity. Applying what we have learned about your business and matching it with your ambitions, reworking if necessary.
-
The plan to seize opportunity. Armed with insights, we co-create the strategy with your nominated internal team, coordinating actions, policies and resources to generate the best and most impactful outcomes for your business.
Strategy in action. Once built, we implement the strategy together through carefully selected actions to deliver impact today and tomorrow.
-
How the strategy is performing. We design your strategy to be measurable over the short- and long-term, ensuring insights are continuously captured to drive improvement and future opportunities.
Upskilling you and your team. We ensure the long-term success of your strategy by building internal strategic competency. Where others build reliance, we build competency.
